Although never actually used in a game situation; "The Colony" as it's known is currently sending ripple effects around the soccer world. Considered by many as an evolutionary step in the game, the German National team is shown here practicing the manuevre in Wembley Stadium. Fort Erie United is believed to have been given the credit as to the inventors of the revolutionary manuevre; and it is said that this is only the first game changing alignment that the club will introduce over the coming seasons.

Despite the gorgeous weather on Saturday, both United games were cancelled due to field conditions. This marks the first time in over 20 years that a Fort Erie United home game has been cancelled due to the fields being too wet. This may in fact be the first ever time that a home game has been cancelled due to the conditions of the field, however previous records cannot be verrified.
